Phishing scams have become increasingly sophisticated, and it can be very difficult to know whether an email request for information is legitimate. To reduce the number of successful phishing attempts, LTS has implemented validation certificates on all of the Wellesley web pages that ask for your username and password. Look for the green “Wellesley College” to the left of the URL before your enter your username and password.  This has been implemented on all Wellesley sites that require a log in (see list below). If the green address bar is there, you can be confident that you are at an authentic, secure Wellesley site.

No Wellesley College in green = No log in! Do NOT trust the site, and do NOT enter your username and password.
