All students will be required to enroll in Duo two-factor authentication to protect their Google Apps and Workday accounts by October 29, 2019. Duo helps combat increasing cyber threats such as phishing by requiring another form of verification (e.g. phone call, mobile app, or bypass code) to login. Your cell phone will be required for periodic authentication on any and all computers, including your classroom computers. Please bring your cell phone to class if you are required to log into Google. If you do not have a cell phone, please contact the Help Desk for an alternate method.
All students who have not enrolled in Duo by October 29th will be enrolled automatically at 5pm on that day. We strongly encourage students to self-enroll during the voluntary period starting today via this website: https://webapps-vpn.wellesley.edu/duo_enrollment (VPN is required for access from off-campus). Students can also stop by the Help Desk, 8:15am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday and additional drop-in hours in Residence Halls will be posted soon.
In recognition of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, all students who enroll in Duo before October 11th will be entered in the raffle for a Nintendo Switch Lite and other prizes. See our NCSAM website for more details. https://www.wellesley.edu/lts/techsupport/security
