If you plan to make any technology purchases before the end of fiscal year 2022, please send in the request for purchases to LTS ASAP, but no later than May 1, 2022.
Orders must ship and arrive at the College prior to June 30 in order to stay within FY22 budgeting.
LTS staff also need time to review, order, receive, and process your orders during the busy end of the year period. Although we will do our best to process requests received after the deadline, we cannot guarantee that they will be processed in time for the end of the fiscal year.
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS FOR 2022
Unfortunately, supply chain issues continue to persist beyond our control:

- Our Lenovo representatives maintain that PC deliveries at this point should be expected to arrive in 90 days or longer, making them unlikely to land within the FY22 budget.
- Some Apple products may not ship in time (e.g. certain model iPads).
- Other peripheral technology items (e.g. monitors, adapters, docks) may not ship in time, depending on availability.
We strongly encourage you to go through LTS for all technology purchases:
- All purchases through LTS will be exempt from sales tax, while if you directly purchase such items, you will have to pay taxes and the College will reimburse only $5 of sales tax per receipt.
- LTS can also add it to the College’s technology inventory.
- LTS can advise you on whether the hardware is consistent with something that we will be able to support.
- For software, LTS can advise you if we already have licensing, so that you do not have to pay to acquire your own licenses.
