If you have not yet migrated to Gmail, we have created a Google Apps account that you can use in the meantime. You can’t use email in Gmail until you officially “migrate,” but you’ll be able to use Google Groups, Docs, Calendar, and Sites now.
In MyWellesley, click the Google icon and away you go! It will bring you to your (empty) Gmail account, but you can click and use the other options at the top (Docs, Groups, etc.). You can also get to Google Apps by entering “mail.wellesley.edu” in your browser URL field and logging in with your domain username/password. We hope this help reconnect the community, and gives you some time to get familiar with the new, excellent tools in Google Apps.
Faculty emeritae/i and President’s Club members will have accounts created as part of the migration process; we wanted to focus on current faculty and staff for now. If you were somehow missed (it happens!), please email me (vbrandst@wellesley.edu) or googlequestions@wellesley.edu.
