LTS offers media and technology support for over 900 events per year. Understanding the specific technology requirements of the presenters or program and communicating them to LTS well in advance is essential for us to be able to offer the best support possible. Please note the following in planning your events:

  1. For “academic” events such as course meetings, the Tanner and Ruhlman conferences, and the Albright Institute Wintersession Program, we do not charge a fee. For all others, such as events organized by student orgs, and administrative departments, we charge a nominal fee that is used to pay for the student staff and the repair of media equipment. Please note that a budget number (FOAPAL) is required for services two weeks in advance; if you do not provide the appropriate FOAPAL in 25Live two weeks prior to the event, we will not be able to provide support.

  1. We require 2 weeks notice for all services, including videography, microphone setup, and general technical support. While we understand emergencies happen and we do our best to accommodate your events, advanced notice is crucial to ensure staff as well as equipment availability.

  2. While you may be focused on securing a location first, keep in mind that not all event spaces have technology pre-installed. If your request and location requirements do not align with the availability of services, Media Services and the Events Office may ask you to change location in the interest of efficient use of the College’s resources.
